NETTIE PETERS 1915 - 2001 On Friday, May 11, 2001, at the Salem Home, Winkler, Nettie "Brownie" Peters (nee Braun), age 86, of Winkler, MB went to her eternal rest. She was predeceased by her husband Peter H. Peters in 1995; step-daughter-in-law Marlene Peters and step-grandson Darcy Peters. She leaves to mourn her passing three sisters, Annie (John) Loewen of Winkler; Margaret and Victor Brandt of Winnipeg; Irene and Harold Wiebe of Morden; one brother John and Elsie Braun of Morden; step-children, Hugo and Herta Peters; Dorothy and Alfred Rempel; Norma and Victor Funk; Merv Peters; Vern and Luella Peters and their families. Viewing will be held today, May 14 at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler (121 8th St.) Winkler, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 15 at 2:30 p.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (Mountain & 6th), with Rev. Menno Janzen and Rev. John P. Klassen officiating. Interment will follow at the Winkler Cemetery. Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler in care of arrangements, 204-325-4201.
