GERALDINE (GERI) DEAN At dawn on May 10, 2001 with her husband by her side, the angels peacefully came and raised Geri away to be with her Heavenly Father. Geri was predeceased by her father, Frank Walkers, in March 1995. Geri leaves to mourn her beloved husband Doug, daughter Deborah, son David, daughter-in-law Glenny, granddaughter Mercadies, mother Ann Walters, in-laws Elsie and Art Dean, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Geri loved life in its simplest ways, her back yard and flowers, blue skies, trees, trips to the lakes, Harrisons cottage at Gimli and getting together with friends and family. Geri will be remembered as a kind and loving person who put the needs of her Mom, Dad and Family far above her own. Geri was that kind of person who would take all the time and energy needed to get that special card or unique gift. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St., with Rev. Jim Poirier officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers gracefully declined, donations may be made in Geris memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
