HILDA (TILLIE) GARRISON On Sunday, May 13, 2001 Tillie passed away peacefully with her family at her side. She was born in Wabigoon, Ont. January 27, 1913 and was predeceased by Bill, her husband of 60 years; parents, brother Charles; sisters, Alice, Lillian, Rose, Sylvia and Beatrice. Survived by her daughters, Berni and Cindi; son-in-law Bill; grandsons, Derrick and Greg; granddaughters, Kai-Lee and Kim; great-grandsons, Michael, Andrew and Ryan. Tillie is also survived by sisters-in-law, Violet and Viola and many nieces and nephews. For the past three years, Tillie was a resident at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. She had great fun while there and enjoyed sing-a-longs, outings to baseball games and shopping. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the home for their loving care and tenderness to Tillie. You made her final years very happy. Funeral service will be held at St. Albans Cathedral, in Kenora, Ont. at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2001. Viewing will be from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m. Interment will follow at Lake of the Woods Cemetery. Following interment lunch will be served by the Church Ladies Auxilliary at St. Albans (basement hall). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
