Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA NICKEL August 6, 1911 - May 12, 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on Saturday, May 12, 2001. Eva will be missed and forever cherished by her daughter Doreen; son Allan; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Eddie Klippenstein (Shirley) sister Margaret Nauer; sister-in-law Elizabeth Klippenstein; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Sarah Klippenstein and brothers and sisters, Henry, Marie, Sarah (Sadie), John (Jack), Peter, Diedrich (Dick), Kathrine (Kay), and Helen. She was also predeceased by her husband George Canvin in 1935 and her husband John C. Nickel in 1962. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Tabor Home for their tender, loving care. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden, with Pastor Otto Homm officiating. Viewing will take place prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. and interment at Southside Cemetery following the services. The family welcomes you to join us for fellowship and "faspa" (lunch) at Wiebe Funeral Chapel reception hall following the interment. If friends and family so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eva to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, Box 119, Winkler, MB R6W 4A4 or Tabor Home Memorial Fund, 230 9th St. S., Morden, MB R6M 1Y3.
