JAMES GORDON
Born: Jun 14, 1932
Date of Passing: May 13, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES GORDON Peacefully on May 13, 2001 with his family at his side, James Gordon, aged 68, passed away after a lengthy illness. Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Eleanor; sons, Glen (Anna-Kay), John (Pam) sisters, Joan (Albert) Olsen, Susan (Ken) Bilyk; brother-in-law Scott (Sharon) Johnston; sister-in-law Sonya Stobie; and 10 nieces and nephews. Jim was born June 14, 1932 and was a longtime resident of St. Boniface. He married Eleanor on September 12, 1959. Jim was employed for 35 years as a conductor with the Canadian National Railway. Treasured moments for Jim were in his garden, fishing on the lake and puttering around his cottage near Kenora. Cremation has already taken place. Ever the enemy of sentimental ceremony, it was Jims wish that no funeral or memorial service be held after his death. Friends and family are invited to join together in celebration of his life on May 16 at St. Bartholomews Church, 881 Autumnwood Dr. from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Jims memory to a charity of their choice. "I Did It My Way"
