DORA KASIAN On Monday, May 14, 2001 at the Vita Personal Care Home, Mom passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1988. Mom leaves to mourn her son John (Linda), their children, daughter Tracie (Bill) Eyolfson and great-granddaughters, Allyssa and Rachel, and son David (Tammy) and their daughter Kennedy; daughter Nancy (Bill) Bahrychuk and their sons, Jonathon and Andrew; her sisters, Mary Myshkowski, Anne Mykytowich, Vera Shuwera and Nadia Alexiuk. At her request a viewing only will be held on Thursday, May 17 between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Church in Caliento, with Rev. Fr. Ihor Royik officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. The children extend their appreciation to the family, friends and neighbours who were a great support to her and to them. Thanks also to Vita Health Centre for the care in the hospital and personal care home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Church Fund in Caliento.
