EVELYN RUTH LAWRENCE (LANDGRAVE) It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother Evelyn Ruth Lawrence on Saturday, May 12, 2001. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Peggy; son-in-law Karl; grandchildren, Amanda and Christopher. The family would like to acknowledge the caring nursing staff at the rehab center, Dr. Vanameyde and associates; her home care workers, Connie, Linda, Tammy and also Russell for their patience and care. Special thanks to Joan Billey and family, Jean Smith and family and her cousin Audrey Smith and family for their love and friendship over the years. Mom was a very caring and loving person who greatly treasured the time with her grandchildren. Mom was a lover of animals and her two cats gave her a lot of comfort and happiness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
