GLEN RICHLO Peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, May 15, 2001, Glen Richlo passed away at the age of 39 years. Glen is survived by his mother Shirley; sister Connie Dame, niece Samantha, nephews Brock and Austin; good friend Darrell Hart; godparents Audrey and Jim Neal; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Samuel in April 1985. Glen attended Varenness School and graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate in 1979. He was a day care worked at Lord Roberts until he was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy in 1986. Glen was blessed with a heart transplant in Edmonton on December 8, 1993. This provided him time to spoil and love his niece and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff on 5A, 5B and the MICU at St. Boniface Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Desmeurons St. The interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Glens memory, to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
