HOWARD HOULE With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, Howard Houle. His memory will be forever cherished by his beloved wife Louise; sisters, Esther (Max) Merrick, Edna Merrick, Marie (Mary) (Reg) Thordarson; his brother-in-law Einar (Loret) Gislason; his nieces, Petey (Kevin) Sinclair, Emily (Jim) Smith; his nephew Junior Thordarson. Howards memory will also be special to his daughters, Cheryl, Geraldine, Gisele; his sons, Randy and Arnold; special friends, Allan (Lucy) Dumas, Vernon (Jiggs) Sinclair, and Russell Paul; and Howards special cousin David Houle; as well as his many nieces, nephews, grand-children, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and his numerous relatives and friends. A wake and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg. A wake and further services will be held on Thursday, May 17 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Long Plain Community Hall, Long Plain First Nation. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m., also at Long Plain. Interment will follow in the Long Plain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Einar and Lance Gislason, David Houle, Reg Thordarson Sr., Reg Thordarson Jr., and Randy Houle. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Sinclair and Allan Dumas. There will always be a heartache and often a silent tear. But always special memories of the days when you were here.
