Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryR. DOUGLAS SPROUL R. Douglas, born in Winnipeg November 30, 1924. Died peacefully on May 16, 2001 with his wife Eleanor by his side. Doug graduated from the University of Manitoba Medical School, 1952 then went on to McGill University to obtain a post-graduate degree in Radiology. He then moved to Vancouver and worked for Brooke Radiology and Associates from 1960 to 1987, when he retired. He enjoyed his boating, travelling, and motorhome. He is survived by his wife Eleanor; daughters, Lynn (Colin) LaRiviere, Janice (Rob) Muir and son Stephen (Nancy) Sproul; brother Stanley (Beth) Sproul. Predeceased by sister Marnie (Harold) Shorten. Also survived by his four grandchildren, Brian, Greg, Monique, and Adam. A celebration of life reception will be held at 902 Jackson Cres., New Westminster, BC Sunday, May 20 between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Family and friends welcome. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
