GRACE BOYD (KEAM) Peacefully, on Thursday, May 17, 2001, Grace Boyd passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Mom was born in Manitou, MB on December 17, 1914. She was married to Austin Keam in 1938 and together raised eight children. Mom was predeceased by her two sons, Jim and Bob Keam; her first husband Austin Keam; her second husband Lloyd Boyd of LaRiviere, MB; and her parents, Reg and Kate Walpole. Mom lived in West Kildonan for many years and raised her children. She then spent many happy years in LaRiviere, retiring back in Winnipeg at the Carriage House North until her passing. Mom is survived by her children, Walter Walpole of Brooks, AB, Jack (Lynne) Keam of LaRiviere, Gilbert (Donna) Keam of Calgary, AB, Muriel (Ed) Zerbin of Winnipeg, Shirley (Bill) Dzama of Winnipeg and Gail (Frank) DOttavio of Winnipeg; one brother Reg (Myrtle) Walpole and one sister Anne Yestrau. Also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mom enjoyed her life to the fullest and also her card games, bingo and shuffleboard at Carriage House North with all her dear friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Ted Nimik officiating. A special thanks to the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, Unit 5 for their care and compassion.
