Katies love and concern for others will be missed by everyone. Katie was loved by many friends and family members. She will be sadly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Predeceased by her husband, Walter Kristofferson on April 23, 1985, Katie is survived by her son Larry (Jackee) daughters, Marlene and Linda; five granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and her faithful companion Purrcilla. Katie will be cremated in Vancouver. No service by request. A celebration of Katies life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. Anonymous Quotation
