GEORGENE CLAIRE MOSTOWY Peacefully, on May 17, 2001 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Georgene Claire Mostowy (nee Feyereisen) passed away at the age of 74 years. Gene was born in Pilger, Saskatchewan on October 1, 1926 to the late Raymond and Alice Feyereisen. She was predeceased in 1987 by her husband John and leaves surviving one daughter, Deborah Ammeter and her husband Arthur of Petersfield and one son, Kim and his wife Irene of Selkirk as well as five grandchildren, Carly and husband Glen, Rebecca, Paul, Kathryn and Michael. Also surviving are one brother, Charles (Bud) Feyereisen and wife Arlene of Selkirk, and two sisters, Phyllis Bissonnette of Winnipeg and Ardelle Piaskowski and husband Joe of Selkirk; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Gene had been employed at Red River Place Nursing Home, the Selkirk Mental Health Centre and Lower Fort Garry Historical Park before retiring. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
