WALTER THOMAS GRAY February 8, 1923 - May 17, 2001 With sadness we announce the passing of our father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dad passed away peacefully knowing his family was there for him. After a courageous battle with cancer, dad, aged 78 years, predeceased by his wife Reta Gray. Leaving to mourn his children, Nick (Linda), Brian (Geri), Helen (Frank), Gene (Gina), Gerry (Betty), Ron, Tim (Diane) triplets, James, Janet, Janice (Shawn) twins, Karen (Doug), Evelyn (Tom) 39 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Dad was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Nellie Gray; two children, Whayne and Dinah; grandson Richard; two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Angelic. Dad liked to play crib, barbecues in the yard, and going to the Legion. He liked to play the guitar and fiddle. He worked as a painter most of his life. Donations in Walters memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division in lieu of flowers. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
