KAI JAMES STUB Kai James Stub died peacefully after a courageous nine year battle with cancer at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus, on Friday, May 18, 2001 in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Laverne;c dear father of Terry and his wife Tracey, Lisa Heslop and her husband Kevin, Greg and his wife Laurie all of London, Ken of Brampton and Andrea Stub and her partner Terry Needham also of London. Loving grandfather of Mark, Mihael, Jeffery, Kevin, Bradley and Nicholas. Brother of Ruth English and her husband Bob of Sandy Hook, Man. and brother-in-law of Susan MacDonald and her husband Ron of Cornwall. Also survived by his nieces, Linda and Anna English of Winnipeg and Cynthia Marcino of Cornwall. He was an active member of The Appraisal Institute of Canada and served as president at both the provincial and national levels. Kai taught appraisal courses at several colleges in Ontario. He was an avid golfer and curler and felt very privileged to have the same team mates for over 30 years. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the London Regional Cancer Centre, 790 Commissioners Rd. E., London, ON, N6A 4L6 or to the Palliative Care Unit at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus would be greatly appreciated. I had known Kai many years ago when working as fee appraiser and did not hear of his passing until I did a Google search. Hard to believe he has been gone for 20 years. A true gentleman and much respected. - Posted by: Dick Brown (Fellow appraiser) on: Oct 08, 2021
