ROBERT HECTOR BOUTET It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert on Wednesday May 17, 2001 at the Morris General Hospital after a long courageous battle with emphysema. His courage and determination are an inspiration to us and everyone who knew him. Born September 4, 1927 near Arnaud, MB, Robert was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Joseph; his sisters, Fay Opocensky and Doreen Markham; and brothers, Ted, Charles, and Roger. He is survived by Florence, his beloved wife of 49 years; three daughters, Elaine Boutet of Winnipeg, Claudia and husband Mike Lancaster of Victoria, BC, and Laurel and husband Marc Plamondon of Masson-Angers, PQ; four sons, Norm and wife Lucie of Dominion City, Richard and wife Leah of Rosenfeld, Gregory of East Selkirk, and Tony and wife Pam of St. Malo; 16 grandchildren, Faith and Nicole, Trevor and Erin, Josiane, Denise and Rene, Josh and Joel, Mathew, Stephen and Laura, Ryan and Ashley, Troy and Tyson; and great-granddaughter Alexandrea. He is also remembered by his sister Bev and husband Don Froom of Kelowna, BC, and brother Garnet and wife Carol of Winnipeg. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends will also miss Robert. If friends wish to pay their last respects, there will be viewing at the Morris Funeral Home on Monday, May 21 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church in Morris. A gathering for friends and family will follow at the Morris Legion Hall. The family would like to thank Dr. Fraser and all the nurses and staff at the Morris General Hospital for their care and compassion. Thanks also to Dr. V.
