ISOBEL JACK Peacefully, on May 19, 2001 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Isobel Jack passed away at the age of 89 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son George Jack, her daughter-in-law Marta, her grandson Spencer, her sister Sadie McKay, and many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Nova Scotia. Isobel was always very close to her family. Her world revolved around her darling husband Walter who passed away in 1991. She spent many hours with her son George, his wife Marta and her grandson Spencer in her "wee little house" on Amherst Street which was decorated totally in blue, her favourite colour. Another important member of her family was Jock, the Schnauzer who belonged to her sons family. In years past Isobel "babysat" Jock and she could talk for hours on end if she got started on Jocks attributes. After Isobel was settled into Deer Lodge Centre, she was visited often by family and friends. She always appreciated those visits and looked forward to hearing about all that was going on outside the Centre. The nurses and attendants took excellent care of Isobel and made sure that all of her needs were met. Isobel will be remembered for her strong sense of family and for her dedication to all of her extended family as well. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1858 Portage Avenue, 949-4872
