BORDEN ANTHONY It is with deep sorrow, that we announce the passing of Borden Anthony, age 71 years, on May 20, 2001, at Concordia Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia; son Michael, daughter-in-law Sue and his very precious grandson Craig. Borden is also survived by his sister Jean Bucholz (Ernie) and three nieces, Sharon, Sandra, Susan and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Rose and his brother Bill. Borden had a love of opera and was one of the founding members of the Manitoba Opera. He was employed as a Court Reporter firstly in Toronto in the Supreme Court and then for many years in Winnipeg in the Court of Queens Bench. In keeping with Bordens wishes cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
