LAURA MARGARET BOWSER It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Margaret Bowser (nee Bennett) on May 18, 2001. Laura was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family: husband George Bowser; her children, Larry (Kathy) Bowser of Calgary, Linda (Grant) Friesen of Winnipeg, Deborah Bowser of Vancouver; her grandchildren, Kevin and Jennifer; one sister Florence Hewitt of Edmonton and one brother Robert Bennett (Dorothy) of Vancouver. Laura was predeceased by one brother, Gordon Bennett (Margrat) of Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at a later date. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard (south of the Royal Canadian Mint), followed by a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Lauras life. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lauras memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg MB R3C 2B7.
