MOLLY BURKHARDT (nee ENGLEHART) Peacefully, on Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Health Sciences Centre, Molly Burkhardt passed away at the age of 83 years. Molly lived in Winnipeg since 1976 when she first moved in with her sister-in-law Alice. In 1980, she moved into a suite where she resided until she went into the hospital in March of this year. She is survived by her son, Douglas; brother Jack (June) of Yorkton; sisters, Emily Boehm, Leah Blackner and Eleanor (Adolph) Krenz, all of Winnipeg, along with several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Henry Englehart, Jacob and Eva Streck; brothers, Henry and David Englehart, Wilhelm and Victor Streck; sisters, Frieda and Mary along with her nephew Lloyd Streck; nieces, Joan Johnson and Shirley Loliett; sisters-in-law, Alice Englehart and Lydia Streck; brothers-in-law John Boehm, John Blackner and Ted Smith. As per Mollys wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Pastor Rick Sauer officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mollys memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St. Winnipeg, R3B 2H8.
