JOHN EDWARD GRAVER It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our dearly beloved Husband, Dad, and Grandfather, John Edward Graver, at the age 83 years on May 16, 2001, at the Grace Hospital. John was predeceased by his Father, Henry; Mother, Margaret; son-in-law Norm Forsyth; and brother-in-law Ray Woodfield. He is survived by Ivy, his loving and devoted wife of 60 years; his daughter Joan Forsyth; grandsons, John (Leah) and Kyle (Erika) brothers, Wilfred and Harold; sister Eleanor Barnes; sister-in-law Lil Woodfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. John was employed by Canada Packers (Winnipeg) for 26 years and transferred to Canada Packers in Edmonton in 1965, where he served for 15 years. He retired early in order to return to Winnipeg to be with his family and friends. John was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. John will always be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Borrett and Dr. McCammon, as well as the staff of the Grace Hospital who cared for John; Reverend Ian Mills; and for the many kindnesses of family and friends, especially the support from family friend George Vadas and the devotion of niece Lyn Beckett. Johns life was celebrated at a private family service and interment took place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
