Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJESSIE CRAWFORD PILOUS (nee GRAHAM) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie Pilous following a lengthy illness. Jessie passed away peacefully at Fred Douglas Lodge on May 18, 2001. Jessie was predeceased by her loving husband Max; her parents, Robert and Jessie Graham; brothers, Robert, William, and Doug, and sisters, Margaret Peary and Sue Gavin of Edmonton. Jessie is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Pat; brother Burt of Toronto; sisters, Charlotte Colpitts, Georgina Hagman, and Jean Graham, all of Winnipeg; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Pilous and Graham families and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Jessie was born in Scotland and came to Canada with her parents at the age of two. She lived most of her adult live in the Brooklands/Weston area. As a young woman Jessie worked for the T. Eaton Company later marrying Max and they shared almost 50 years together with Pat as their only pride and joy. Jessie was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and bowling with the Weston Community Center as well as her trips to Grand Forks. The family would like to thank the staff at the Fred Douglas Lodge and all those on Oak Wing who were so kind and caring while attending to Jessie. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Reverend Cliff McMillan to officiate. A private family committal will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society, or a charity of choice.
