FRANCESCO CORSARO Francesco (Frank) entered into the arms of his lord peacefully on Friday May 18, 2001 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Frank was 69 years young and was the beloved husband of Louise Dolinski Corsaro. Francesco was born in Catania, Sicily, Italy. He lived in Winnipeg for the last 34 years with his first wife Angela DAntonio Corsaro for eight years until her passing on January 24, 1975, leaving three sons and one daughter. For the last 25 years Frank had a new love, Louise and her children. He loved and accepted them like they were his own. This acceptance and love was the way Frank lived his life. He was a strong willed man and did whatever he set his mind to. Frank leaves to mourn his beloved wife Louise; his children, Andrea (Debra), Carmelo (Jan), Darrell (Marianne), Giuseppi (Heather), Angela (Dean) and Darlene. He also leaves nine precious grandchildren, Darielle, Justin, Aaron, Tyler, Terry, Erin, Dustin, Nicola and Connor. At home in Italy he leaves his sisters Maria and Tina. There are many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada who will miss their Uncle Frank. As well as his brother-in-law Salvatore, who loved and saw Frank as a brother. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrea and Angela, his brother Giuseppe and his first wife Angela. Frank will always be remembered for his love of family, cooking, golfing and gardening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Edward J. Coutu Ltd. Funeral Director, 680 Archibald St. Interment will take place at a later date. You will be greatly missed by your family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, ICU Units 3 & 5 - special thanks to nurses Judy and Brenda for their care and attention.
