LEA DUBOIS- LEVESQUE (nee DUPONT) Surrounded by her family, our loving mother, Lea Dubois-Levesque, nee Dupont, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2001, at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. The youngest of 12 children, Lea was born in St. Georges, MB, on August 5, 1931. Lea was predeceased by her parents Ozias and Rosianne Dupont; her husband Roland Dubois in 1973; after having remarried in 1980, her husband Julien Levesque in 2000; her brothers, Cyril, Alexis, Wilfrid and Theodore; her brothers-in-law, Armand Challe and Zephir Chevrefils; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth (Belle). Lea will be sorrowfully missed and greatly cherished by her four children, Claude, Denis, Juliette (Francois Gendron) and Laurent (Noreen Golding) her grandchildren, Sonya, Matthew, Alain, Eddy, Katelyne, Danielle, Pascal and Milene; her great-granddaughter Emilee; her sisters and brothers, Delina Challe, Delvina Chevrefils, Ernest (Maria), Honore (Lea), Georgianne Bouvier (Emmanuel), Helen Wilcott (Omer), Therese; and her sisters-in-law, Marcelle, Hermine and Germaine; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Moms devotion, generosity, joie de vivre, enthusiasm in all undertakings, love of nature, perseverance and wisdom are precious memories that we hold dear. A woman of deep faith in God, the most invaluable principle she has passed on to her children is the importance of peace and love that unite a family. We would like to thank everyone at the St. Boniface General Hospital who were involved in Leas care. Prayers will be said Tuesday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Marys Rd., with Father Marcel Toupin presiding.
