ANGELE DHEILLY It is with great sadness that the family of Angele Dheilly (nee Lavallee) wish to announce her passing on May 22, 2001 at the age of 78, following a lengthy illness. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Raymond; her sons, Marcel and Roger (Claudia) her grand-children, Renee, Christopher, Rebecca and Jessica; her great-grandchildren, Kayla and Keegan; her sister Rollande; and brother Marcel Lavallee. She was predeceased by her parents, Clementine and Jean-Marie Lavallee and most recently by her beloved granddaughter, Crystal. Angele was born on April 20, 1923, the oldest of three children, in St. Joseph, MB. These were difficult financial times and most often, Angele had to do without much in the way of material items. But this wonderful little country girl flourished as a caring, loving, nurturing and giving person, who thought never of herself but of those around her. In her young adult years, Angele met a handsome and devoted young man by the name of Raymond, who for what would have been 48 years in August was her husband and best friend. In good times and difficult times, neither left each others side. Angele did work for some time at the St. Boniface Hospital, but chose to look after her sons as a full-time mom. With her family, Angele enjoyed happy times. Amidst those happy times, Angele also experienced great heartache. Very traumatic for Angele was the passing of her mother Clementine, at the age of 65 years old. Given that her mother was like her, very loving, such a loss proved hard for Angele to deal with. Several years later, she lost her father following a lengthy illness. The final heartache for Angele, came recently upon the loss of her granddaughter, Crystal, which was too much of a loss for her frail and weakened heart; 48 days after the passing of Crystal, Angele left to look after her in a far better place than for those of us left behind. We will love and remember you forever and we will miss your gentle voice and your caring but ever-reassuring touch. You have left nothing behind but fond memories of a wife, mother, grandmother and friend too beautiful to put to words. But you have earned your place in heaven, and with that thought and your memory, we say, "Until we meet again." Special thanks to the nursing and support staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the human and respectful care given. Cremation has taken place and prayers will be held on Sunday, May 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 233-4949 or toll free 1-888-233-4949.
