MARY NOSATY (nee SOKOLOWSKI) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Peter Nosaty, sister Anne and brother John. Left to cherish her memory is her son Richard and wife Fern; grandchildren, Shelly (Rick), Nadine (Dan), Jason (Lynn) great-grandchildren, Dylan, Paige, Sheridan and Alexia. Mom also leaves to mourn her sisters, Frances and Rose; and brother Steve; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born in 1927 and raised in Rembrandt, MB. In 1945 she married Peter and lived in Winnipeg. From 1946 to 1952 they lived in Brandon, MB and Broadview, SK where they operated the lunch counter in the CPR Train Station. In 1952 they moved to Teulon, MB and owned and operated a family restaurant and raised their son Richard. After the passing of her husband, Mom moved to Winnipeg. She worked for Eatons for 20 years until her retirement. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Rev. Deacon Harry Chuckry will officiate. Service will conclude at the chapel. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
