Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE (TED) H. VERNON Died peacefully on May 24, 2001 at Poseidon Care Centre. Ted was predeceased by his parents, William Henry and Mary (Minnie) Vernon, and his older brother Bill. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Margaret; nephews and nieces in Winnipeg, Thompson, Yellowknife, and cousins in Cheltenham, England, as well as kind friends. Ted was born in Winnipeg and worked many years for the Federal Government (Post Office). He served four years overseas in the U.K. during the war with the RCAF No. 409 Squadron (Night Fighters) as an engineer. He was a lifetime member of the St. Johns Masonic Lodge No. 4 AF & AM, and was a member of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed photography, cars, curling and travelling in his early years. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Wednesday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Teds memory, to a charity of ones choice.
