ADA ELEANOR ANDERSON (nee STANLEY) Ada Anderson, aged 91 years, of Morris, formerly of Carnduff, SK, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at the Red River Valley Lodge. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harry H. Anderson; stepdaughter Dorine Norris; sister Helen Welsh; and two brothers, Keith and Morton Stanley. Ada leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Vera (Bruce) Boyd of Estevan, SK, and Edna Moffat of Winnipeg; two stepsons, Francis (Becky) Anderson and Raymond (friend Lucy Cunningham) Anderson, both of Morris; ten grandchildren and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ada was born and raised in the Carnduff area. She took her nurses training at the Brandon General Hospital, graduating in 1932. As a career nurse, she worked in Norway House, the James Bay area of Ontario, Toronto, where she continued with post-graduate work, as well as Halifax during the Second World War. In 1949 she married Harry Anderson, after which she began working at the Morris General Hospital, retiring in 1970. The graveside funeral service will be held at the Carnduff Cemetery, Carnduff, SK, on Friday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m. Saskatchewan time. Morris Funeral Home 746-2451, toll free 1-866-746-2451
