Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNANCY PEEBLES (nee McPHERSON) June 6, 1924 - May 23, 2001 It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our dearest mother, at the residence of her daughter, Lillian, surrounded by her family. She left to be with the rest of her family that passed on. She was predeceased by her husband William George of 40 years; son William Peter in 1993; sister Flora Abraham in 1995; brother William McPherson in 1997; numerous other relatives and special friend "Alfred Favel." She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Nancy (Elmer Clark), Flora, Edith (Clem Courchene), Janet (Hank Simard), Clarence (Yvonne), Lillian (Allen Bushie) stepchildren, Alfred Favel (Clare), Alice (Henry Moneyas), Beverly (Peter Black), George, Alex Favel (Mable), Lydia (Pat Bushie) and Florence; half sister Frances Valiquette; 28 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grand-children; plus numerous stepgrandchildren and friends. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, Thursday, May 24 and Friday, May 25 at the residence of Allen and Lillian Bushie, House #66, Hollow Water. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hollow Water Anglican Church with Rev. Nancy Bruyere presiding. Interment to follow at the Parish Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Leo Hardisty, Andrew McPherson, Morris Moneyas and Joe Moneyas. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Bill Peebles, Claude Williams, Bill Courchene, Vinnie Simard, Byran Peebles and A.J. Bushie. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Sunnywood Manor Personal Care Home, Brenda, Thelma, Bobbie (with her Eskimo kisses), and the rest, too many to mention. Special thanks to Dr. Niemand, Blue Water Medical Clinic and the attending medical staff that looked after Mom, Gloria Bushie, public health nurse, who was very helpful and supportive once we got Mom home.
