BARRY BATCHELAR Barry was born Friday, February 10, 1939 in Brandon, MB. Barry lived the majority of his life in the north. He worked in the heavy equipment and automotive fields. He was enthusiastically involved with his huskies, breeding, raising, and showing them. Although, for the last 15 years Barrys activities were diminished due to ill health, it did not decrease his zest for life. Barry will be remembered by those many, many friends who were part of that life. Barry passed away Friday, May 25, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, aged 62 years. He is survived by his brother Terry (Pam), Winnipeg; niece Holly of Douglas. Barry was predeceased by his father Eric; mother Audrey; twin brother Philip (Pip) and grandmother "Nan" Waite. Thank you to all those who cared for Barry in The Pas, Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, and a special thank you to I.C.M. staff of St. Boniface General Hospital for their care and kindness over the past few weeks. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 1, 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Anglican, The Pas, with Rev. Fletcher Stewart presiding. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, The Pas.
