Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDWIGHT CAMERON McOUAT June 11, 1943 - May 24, 2001 After a valiant battle our father has bid farewell to his family to join our mother. Mom, (Sandra) left us two weeks earlier so their new home is lovingly prepared. Dad leaves the world his five children, Cameron (Leslie), John, Marc, Kimberly, and Tannis; and will have his morals and values taught to six grandchildren, Trynity, Shayla, Reaghan, Emmily, Rylee, and Jeyda. He will be proud. Dad grew up in St. Vital as part of a large, proud family. His parents Walter and Grace saved the best for the last with Dad, having first given him 10 brothers and sisters, Marcella, Earl, Wally, George, Don, Chuck, Art, Margaret, Bill and Danielle. Dad attended Glen Lawn Collegiate in his youth, played for the St. Vital Mustangs and was a member of JTCVC Sea Cadets as a cadet and officer. His career in the automotive industry spanned over 30 years. Dad would wish to extend his thanks to the wonderful staff of St. Boniface Palliative Care ward, and the family joins in with their thanks as well, to sisters Marcella and Danielle, and brother Bill with sister-in-law Patricia for their tireless help and comfort. A service will be held on Monday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion Street. "The more we love, the better we are." P. COUTU & CO.
