LESTER MURRAY BUTTS 1944 - 2001 Les passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side on May 24, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Les is survived by his wife Violet; his three children; parents, Myrtle and Jim Butts of Oakbank; sisters, Sandra, Marion (Ken) Christie, Kathy (Dwayne) Labossiere of Winnipeg and his brother Bill (Laureen) of Shilo. His numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many many friends, will also lovingly remember Les. Les always had a silly joke for all who knew him and although some of us groaned when he said he had a new joke, we will miss those jokes dearly. Because Les had a love for all children, donations in his memory may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation. We will miss you very much, Love Mom, Dad, Sandra, Marion, Kathy and Bill.
