ELEATA SIMS KILLBERY (nee KNOWLES) Peacefully on Thursday May 24, 2001 Eleata Killbery passed away at the Grace Hospital. Eleata was born at La Riviere, Manitoba. She married William (Bill) George Killbery in 1930 at Brandon, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband in 1981. She was also predeceased by her brother Eldred. Eleata will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, John (and his wife Gail) of Headingley, Don (and his wife Mary) of Winnipeg; brothers, Jack, Fred; sisters, Ruth (Sarahs) of Winnipeg, and Irene (Downey) of Calgary, Alberta; as well as eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., for family and friends. Reception to follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eleata to a charity of your choice.
