Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPASQUALE IANIERO Pasquale "Pat" Ianiero passed away on May 25, 2001, at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his son Michele. He is survived by his sisters, Adeline Hall, Margaret Mancino and husband Clemente "Clem," Domenica De Palma and husband Brian all of Essex, England. Pat was born on May 18, 1920 in Torella Del Sannio, Campobasso, Italia. He moved to England shortly after the Second World War where he began raising livestock and performing agricultural work. He immigrated to Canada in June of 1945 (and had remained since), taking up permanent residence in Winnipeg, where he met his loving wife, Mary. Here he raised a family, and established himself as a skilled craftsman, making furniture, building homes and working on the construction of churches and commercial property. Pasquale was a devout Roman Catholic and was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Hungarian Church congregation. Special thanks to Dawn Laing, R.N. and Kendra Manulak (Nursing Co-ordinator) and support staff of Oakview Place for making Pats stay more comfortable during the years he resided there (from 1992 to present). A service will be held on Thursday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway with Father Paul Hancko of St. Anthonys officiating. Viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue. Those wishing to make a donation to lieu of flowers may, to the Salvation Army or the Royal Canadian Legion, Joint Hospital Visiting Committee (St. James Legion Br. #4). Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
