ROSE PENNER After a lengthy struggle, on May 24, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Rose Penner died at the age of 60 years. She is survived by daughter Dorothy and husband Joel Korsunsky, grandchildren David and Sara Korsunsky all of Winnipeg; daughter Deneanin and husband Vic Yowney and grandchildren Jaime and Tyler Penner and Madison Yowney all of Stony Plain, AB; and son Ronny also of Stony Plain. Also survived by five sisters, Mary Stevens, Tina (Dan Dyck), Liz (Lorne Wood), Agy (Andy Firman), Nettie (Al Stadnyk) three brothers, Frank (Faye), Jack and Henry and many other relatives and friends. Rose loved her family and all children and prior to her illness she loved the outdoors and fishing. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Springstein Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Childrens Hospital Research or the Addictions Foundation. Klassen Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 338-0331.
