Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH H. FRIESEN Kenneth was born on March 25, 1936 in Winkler, Manitoba. He passed away on May 12, 2001, at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, Kenora, ON after a brief illness. Ken had a friendly, easy-going nature. He was an artist and a writer, and enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. His childhood was spent in Winkler. After high school, Ken worked in the family printing business in Winkler and Morden, and later was employed at various printing and publishing establishments. He settled in the Kenora/Keewatin area where he did freelance writing and bus driving until his retirement. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Agatha and P.T. Friesen. He leaves to mourn his passing, his brother Harvey (Irene) Friesen; his sisters, Kay Loewen, Flo Edwards, Lillian (Gordon) Collins, Mabel Friesen de Bruce, Deanna (Don) Kohaniuk, and many relatives and friends. He is survived by three children and two grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering and interment will follow at a later date. Donations in Kens memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Memory drifts to scenes long past, Time rolls on, but memories last.
