LOUISE ANN ASKEW Peacefully, on Monday, May 28, 2001, with her family by her side, Louise left this earthly life and was joined again with her husband Fred in Gods Kingdom. She leaves to mourn two daughters, Angela Van Tornhout (Dave) and Carole Martin (Marty) four grandchildren, Tracy Fedyck (Bruce), Jacquie Tustin (Paul), Brian Martin (Jacki), and Kristina Martin. Great- grandchildren Madison, McKenna and Ryden have lost a bright light in their lives. Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Fred in 1977 and her son Alan in 1982. Louise was born in London, England in 1907 and married Fred in 1931. They immigrated to Canada with their two daughters in 1950 and settled in Birds Hill where they lived out their lives together. Louises greatest love was her family and she enjoyed every minute spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Knitting was her greatest passion and she spent many hours enjoying her hobby with a cup of tea by her side. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Center for their caring and kindness towards our Mom. Special thanks to Linda, Kim, Lillian and Venus who made our moms last days as comfortable as possible. Louise has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Catherines Anglican Church, Birds Hill, on Thursday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. with the service to end at the church. Following the service the family will place the urn with Fred in their final resting place. Carole and Angela want everyone to know that there was no better mom in the world and life will never be the same without her loving disposition and warm friendly smile. In lieu of flowers, please sit with a cup of tea and think of our Mom with fond memories you have of her. If you wish, donations can be made in Moms name to the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6. P. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 156 Marion Street 949-4864
