CECILE CLAIRE CHEVREFILS (nee DAYON) On Sunday, May 27, 2001, after a long courageous battle with cancer, Cecile Chevrefils, beloved wife of Sylvio, passed away peacefully at Pine Falls Health Complex. Besides her loving husband Sylvio, she will be sadly missed by her children, Susan (Murray), Paul (Wendy) and Pauline (Robert) grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke, Carter, Shane, Colton and Alexandra. She will also be missed by her sisters, Yvonne (Walter) of Granisle, B.C., Jeanne of Lac du Bonnet, MB., Roger (Karen) of Prince George, B.C., and many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Emile and mother Claire. Cecile was born on December 20, 1940, in Pine Falls Hospital and resided her entire life in the area. She worked many years and enjoyed her time at the Pine Falls Hospital. Her true passions were gardening and art. She was a gifted artist in sculpture and painting. Her hobbies were golfing, fishing and spending quality time with her loving husband, family and friends. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview, MB., with Rev. Fr. R. Chartier presiding. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Pine Falls Health Complex for making Moms last days comfortable.
