JOHN GACSI On Saturday, May 26, 2001 at the Rivereast Personal Care Home, John Gacsi, beloved husband of Frieda, of Winnipeg died at the age of 82 years. John was the last surviving member of his family, and he is survived by Friedas family, Ewald and Elfriede Wadien, Edmund and Ursula Wadien, Reinhold and Betty Wadien, Olga and Otto Pleschke, Alma Hess, Hilda and Reinhard Neske, and many nieces and nephews. John was a religious man and will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 9:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Reverend Gerhard Friesen officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing on Friday June 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, and also Saturday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinsons Foundation of Canada, 204 - 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
