FRED (FRITZ) GARBOLINSKI On Sunday May 27, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital, Fred Garbolinski aged 67 years. Fred was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg, having attended St. Nicholas school. He was employed with The City of Winnipeg, Parks Dept., retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Nicholas Parish. Fred leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Nettie Gambrel (Jack) and Theresa Simmons; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Anna; sisters, Sophie and Mary; brother Bill. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine liturgy will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., with a Basilian Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Freds memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9. its been so long uncle fritz I miss you alot wishing you here I never knew about this thing on my computer Chromebook, about passages and its free. I was thinking about you today Sunday may 29 2016 then I was shocked your obituary showed up .. So here im writing for you..you were a great uncle and fun; especially fishing you would take everyone who wanted to go..we all miss you and all the church picnics you took us all;; and church services''''and your rock bam boo all your songs you would play I loved them all ..its so sad almost all the elders passed on too many things are not the same these years really bad world we live in now so many horrible bad things happening.
