Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSINE VERONIQUE McCARTHY (nee NEPINAK) Peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2001, at the Kildonan Personal Care Home, Rosine Veronique McCarthy passed away at the age of 74 years. Rosine was born on February 25, 1927, at Pine Creek Reserve, MB. From 1952 to 1993 she lived in Windsor, ON, and Detroit, and for the past eight years she had resided in Winnipeg. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory sister Dorothy (Elmer) Betz and family; sons, Terry OConnor-Nepinak and Michael Nepinak and daughter Lena Campbell. There are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father Charles, mother Bernadette, brother Thomas, infant brother, son Rusty, and daughter Peggy. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m., also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel with Fr. Dominique Kerbrat officiating. Interment of cremains will take place on Friday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rosines memory to the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities, Room 401, 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
