Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSA PEREIRA OLIVEIRA Peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2001, at Seven Oaks Hospital, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rosa Pereira Oliveira passed away at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Teresa Rodrigues (Joaquim), Fatima Lopes (Antonio), Maria Barbosa (Antonio) sons, Jose Goncalves (Aurora), Joaquim Goncalves (Prazeres), Antonio Goncalves (Maria), Manuel Goncalves (Lucia) grandchildren, Paulo Goncalves (Odette), Teresa Costa (Manuel), Alexandre Barbosa, Alexandra Rodrigues (Mario), Christina Goncalves, Filipe Goncalves, Victor Lopes, Joao Goncalves, Elisabete Goncalves, Cristina Barbosa, Susie Rodrigues, Ana Paula Goncalves, Sandy Lopes and Lisete Goncalves; great-grandchildren, Alexandre and Catarina Costa, Jessie Barbosa and Josee Goncalves. Rosa was born August 24, 1913, in Portugal. She was predeceased by her husband Joao Jose Goncalves in 1988. After his death she made Canada her home to be closer to her family. All the lives she touched will miss her greatly. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 30, at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Parish with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment will follow in Portugal. "We will love and remember you forever and we will miss your gentle voice and your caring but ever reassuring touch. You have left nothing behind but fond memories of a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a friend to many.
