NICK PETROFF Peacefully after struggling from heart surgery and a stroke, Nick passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2001 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg, MB. Nick was born on December 29, 1928 in Welland, ON. He lived in Port Colborne, ON and later moved with his young family to Thompson, MB. He retired in 1994 from Canada Moving and Storage, Thompson and made his home in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley; sons David, Michael (Simone), Randy (Debbie) loving daughter Lori MacCalman; granddaughter Meaghan MacCalman; grandsons Michael and Mathew Petroff, Nick and Marc Petroff, Chris and Adam MacCalman; great-grandson Quinton Petroff; stepson Bill Jones (Sherry) daughters Jessica and Melissa; stepdaughter Sheri Owen (Darcy) and sons Anthony, James and Troy; loving sisters, Rose Kilborn (Wendell) and Marjie Petroff; mother-in-law Hazel Brackenreed and aunt Tetka Sinko. Nick was predeceased by his parents Klem and Anna and his stepson Rick Jones. In compliance with Nicks wishes, there will be no funeral service. Our family gives special thanks to Murray Howell, friends and the Deer Lodge Centre.
