Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE ALLAN WALLS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandpa who passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2001 aged 80 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Betty; sons, Gerald and Douglas (wife Veronica) and four wonderful grandchildren, Freddie, Savanna, Chantal and Clint. Also surviving Dad are brother Jack and family; brother-in-law Harold Vickers (wife Blanche) and family; sisters-in-law, Joan Walls, May and Joan Vickers and families. Dad was predeceased by his two brothers-in-law, Bill and Ted Vickers; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lightfoot, Ruth Crowe and Jessie Enterline. Dad was born in Winnipeg on April 10, 1921 and grew up in St. Vital. He volunteered in 1942 for service in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served with 436 Squadron in the Burma Campaign as a radar technician. Dad retired in 1986 after 35 years in the employ of the Canadian National Railway. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the many people who cared for Dad during his long term illness, especially Dr. James B. Johnston.
