MARY "IRENE" WILLITS Peacefully, on May 28, 2001, at Deer Lodge Centre, Irene Willits passed away at age 77. Irene was predeceased by her husband Clayton; her parents; and her brother Arthur. She will be sadly missed by her family; sons, Bryan (Debra), Debras children, and Sandy (Sharron) grandchildren, Sean and Kelley; sisters-in-law, Irene, Arva and Gladys; brother-in-law Max, as well as other family members. Irene retired from Travellers Insurance with over 30 years of service. Irene was an avid fan of curling and she participated, as well as travelled, to many destinations to enjoy the game. If friends so desire, donations in Irenes memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg MB R3C 2B7 or to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg MB R3B 2H8. The family would like to extend special thanks to the 4 West staff at the Deer Lodge Centre and to friends for all the wonderful care given to our Mom. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with visitation one half hour prior to the service time.
