INEZ MURIEL FOORD Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 30, 2001 Inez Muriel Foord, widow of George Alfred Foord passed away at the Riverview Health Care Centre. Inez was born on October 23, 1910 in Rapid City, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her dearly loved husband, George Alfred Foord with whom she shared, for 48 years, a beautiful marriage and their mutual concerns for family and friends. She was predeceased also by her parents, Angus and Magnus Flaws; and her sisters, Ethel Rousell, Delta B.C. and Bernice Flaws, Winnipeg. She is survived by sister-in-law Alice Bullard, Waterloo, Ontario; also numerous nieces and nephews. Over the years Inez contributed many hours to volunteer service. During the war years this was done through the Central Volunteer Bureau. Later her volunteer efforts were channelled through programmes and fund raising efforts of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital Guild. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 12:00 noon in St. Michael and All Angels Church, 300 Hugo St. with Rev. Father A.M.L. Klassen officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, contributions may be made in Inezs name to the Riverview Health Care Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Ave. E., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4, or to the charity of your choice.
