IAN (ART) STUART SHAW After a long illness, Ian (Art) Shaw passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2001 at Oakview Personal Care Home at the age of 75 years. Art was sadly missing his grandchildren, Johnathan and Lindy Shaw. He will be sadly missed by daughter Janis (Bryan) granddaughter Meghan; son Keith; sisters, Zelda Arnott (Gary), Joyce Kuby, Doreen Roberts, and Patsy Tummon (Fred) as well as family members and friends from the greater Toronto area and Western Canada. Art was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (Terry). He was a Veteran and participated with the Whitby Legion; as well 29 years were spent with the McNamara Marines Construction Company. Art was also a Past President of the Whitby Kiwanis Club. Ian has spent the last several years in Winnipeg. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with Ian Mills officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arts memory to the Society for PSP, Suite 515, Woodholme Medical Building, 1838 Greene Tree Road Baltimore MD 21208 or a charity of choice.
