Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES CHENIER (nee WHITE) Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at Grace Hospital with family at her side, Agnes passed away at age 78. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Maurice in 1996. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Marguerite (Luc), Doreen (Gerry) and Therese (Barry) and her son Donald (Dale) and her nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Fred (Vera), Vernon, BC, Steve (Doreen), Vancouver; and sister Mildred MacCormack (Kevin), Cranbrook; and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Agnes was born January 27, 1923 in London, England and moved to Canada in 1926. Family and friends will remember our mother as very gentle, kind, loving and prayerful and very talented and generous. She was actively involved in Holy Family Parish from its inception. She was a member of the Catholic Womens League, the Womens Auxiliary and the Prayer Group. Knitting, crocheting, quilting, cake decorating, flower arranging and sewing were some of her talents that she loved to share with her family and friends. She donated many of her crafts to the parish bazaars and charitable fundraisers. She was a resident of Deer Lodge Centre for the past year where she joined many of the activity groups including the Craft Group. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre 4 West and Grace Hospital Emergency nursing staff for all they did for our dear mother. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald St., with Rev. Fr. Ron Leger, C.S.V. officiating.
