Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB (JACK) ANTON SENKIW With great sadness we mourn the passing of our husband, father and grandfather. Jack is survived by his wife Helen, son Marc, daughter Margaret (Steve), grandson Michael, as well as two brothers and one sister. He was pre-deceased by his parents, three brothers and four sisters. Jack was born near Sarto, MB on October 19, 1921. During his teen years he left for the gold exploration camps at Red Lake, ON. His subsequent career in mining led Jack across northern Canada and culminated in 10 enjoyable years in Yellowknife, NWT. In 1982 Helen and Jack returned to Manitoba to retire in Steinbach. He passed away May 29, 2001 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 9:30 a.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach with Rev. Fr. Myron Pozniak officiating. Interment will follow in the Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
