ROBERT "BOB" HOWARD STUBBS It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bob on May 30, 2001 at the age of 44. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his father Blake; sisters; Cathy Stubbs and Suzanne (Marc) Lansard; his nephew Chris Stubbs; and nieces, Ashley and Lauren Lansard; and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Claire in 1994; and his grandparents, Charles and Freda Clement. Bob was born in Winnipeg on September 17, 1956. He grew up in the West End, before moving to East Kildonan in 1978. He attended Sargent Park and Daniel McIntyre and graduated from Tec-Voc in 1973. Bob was employed by the City of Winnipeg Waterworks , Montreal Trust and finally, in 1980, by Manitoba Telecom Service. He was employed as a Business Service Representative at the time of his death. Bob will be remembered by his family and friends as a great guy with a big heart. A service of remembrance will take place on Wednesday, June 6 at 1:00 p.m. in Leatherdale Gardiner Chapel at 1858 Portage Ave. with Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
